Hello guy’s it’s Vaibhav here and in this tutorial I am going to show you how to add watermark using PS in simple steps. Don’t worry we are not going to write in 100 times over the left one to look like right one. I am going to use texture, text and blending mode here. This time I am not going to use any filter.
With your photo open press ctrl+N for new project. Fill the dimensions with 500px both in height and width. Don’t forget to change the background content to “transparent”.
Initiate the text tool by pressing “T”. Write the watermark you want. Then press ctrl+v for the move tool. With this tool active you can adjust the position of your text or you a;so can make your text slant.
Now go to image->trim and choose “transparent” and then select all the four options below i.e. top, bottom etc.
Now go to edit->define pattern. This will save your text as pattern. Give any name to your watermark.
Time to go back to your old real photo. Go to edit->fill or you can press shift+F5. In the pop up window of “fill” select the content as texture by dropping down the content menu. Select your just created texture. Change the blending mode to overlay and use opacity whatever you want. Unselect the “scripted pattern”. Press Ok.
